Theodore R. Young, MSFS has been actively involved in California's business and retirement community since 1981. Ted provides an additional layer of experience as manager of the educational component of the firm, which imparts insurance, financial and retirement information to individuals and businesses. Ted Young is passionate in helping athletes enjoy the peace of mind that comes from taking charge of their financial future.
After undergraduate studies at the University of Arizona and the University of Nevada, Las Vegas, Ted pursued a Master’s Degree at Stanford University. Upon choosing a professional life in the financial services and insurance related fields, Ted sought out an advanced degree to the Certified Financial PlannerTM (CFP®) designation. Ted graduated in 1998 with a Master’s of Science in Financial Services (MSFS) from American College, the only academically accredited graduate level program for this designation.
Ted currently holds the distinction of being a Registered Player Financial Advisor with the NFL Players’ Association and is a member of the Sports Financial Advisors Association. Additionally, Ted is a speaker on the NCAA speaker registry. His involvement as a co-publisher of “Wealth Management Advisor” enables Ted to educate his clients on current financial issues on an ongoing basis. As a shareholder of agent-owner reinsurance company Nylarc, Ted provides unique case representation to clients and advisors for whom creative life insurance expertise and underwriting is required.
